It’s really all about time. Time needed to learn the basics, find and acquire the best citations for you, figuring out which flavor of Google+ is best for you. Then you need to have the time to stay tuned into the constant stream of changes to local search and search engines. Did you know that Google makes, on the average, over 30 changes in its search algorithm every month? And when they make a big update i.e. the recent “Hummingbird” update, (Surprise!) they don’t tell you or anyone else about it.
