Community Involvement

Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce

We are pleased to support our community and the Chamber of Commerce throughout the year.  We strive to ensure that Mission Viejo remains a “business friendly” community.  This goal is facilitated by a very supportive city management for which we are grateful.

Career Transition Ministry

Laura’s House

A safe place for battered women and children to live in south Orange County while they put their lives together without the violence that has surrounded them.  Laura’s House provides a place to sleep, nutritional food, guidance and resources to help these most shaken and vulnerable victims of our community make a new life for themselves.

Family Assistance Ministries

Family Assistance Ministries, or FAM, is truly a blessing for many individuals and families throughout South Orange County.  Their tireless volunteers provide food, shelter, medical care and many other vital services to those in need.

South County Outreach

Similar to FAM, South County Outreach is a volunteer based non-profit organization helping individuals and families get back on their feet.  As rough as the national and local economy has been over the past several years, good people have fallen on some very rough times.  South County Outreach helps smooth those rough spots by providing food, clothing, shelter and job assistance to those that have been victims of “The Great Recession”.
